Yes, I am.  I didn't see the thread but have downloaded Firefox, and using that browser seems to fix the distortion problem. Thanks, Ron.

 

However, I still have pictures that are squeezed into a third of the screen and have a white column taking up at least 25% of the screen on the right-hand side.  Is there a fix for this?  (And my apologies to all for inserting these questions into this thread, but the photo threads are my favorite and this new format really hurts them.)

I'm using Google Chrome (Firefox has gotten rather bloated and slow recently, and besides, you can play Angry Birds inside Chrome as an app ). While the photos are normally proportioned, they're still not centered within the posts.

 

I think the forum software means to treat them as thumbnails--you can click on the photo and it comes up full-size while the forum dims into the background (although that makes the thumbnail box along the bottom redundant).

 

I also have the whitespace on the right-hand side. That's the column where the ads, recent posts and the "who's online" box are located. Since they don't run all the way down the page, there is an empty space below where those page elements end.
