Williams L&N E units that I bought used many years ago. Foolishly sold off the B unit when someone asked for it but a 3 unit set of scale E units eats up a lot of track! Mine need some work as someone had added PS2 to them including the MTH motors which mesh 'pretty good' with the Williams trucks. Every now and then under a load I hear a 'thunk' which I must assume is a gear jumping. Another project for another day!
As a side note, I bought an AA pair of L&N Legacy E8's when they were introduced because the color appealed to me very much - a brilliant blue and cream but after awhile, it began to look 'artificial' and I sold them and kept these handsome Williams models...
