Here's a few shots taken a couple weeks ago at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, IL, during a night time event they had.

Before the sun set, here's their latest building just completed, which is part of their Main Street project. This building will be subdivided into several smaller sections, with this portion in the foreground eventually housing their HO (?) layout. Cool retro-looking sign.

Just after sunset, IRM's Burlington Northern F-9A built by EMD in 1954.

My son schmoozed his way into the cab to have a chat with the engineer during a break. He's a retired UP engineer doing this for fun.

I liked this night view of their 1922 Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) rapid transit car, with the lighting looking very similar in appearance to O-scale scenes.
