Nice Photos Everyone!

As I prepare to build a new layout, I have some ideas in mind, but have not settled on an exact plan. So, I borrowed an idea from another local O-gauger: Have a layout planning party with the local train guys. (Also an excuse to eat, drink and socialize). I provided my layout requirements and preferences, scale-sized floor-plan templates for the basement, pencils, markers, and tape-measures for the guys to brainstorm and sketch ideas and concepts.

Here are some of the guys at work coming up with ideas as my wife dubbed the event, "Trainstorming 2012":

Chet and Wes have their priorities straight, while Bob and Zac draw near the food. Joe's got a story for Dave and Lynn in the background, while I stuff food in my mouth.

The guys came up with some great ideas that I can include in the final design.
