Reply to "Weekend Photo Fun 7-21-17-??"

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Imagine it's 1969 and ALCo RS3 #1545 is fresh out of the paint shop dressed in the Jersey Central's "new-look" blue and yellow scheme inspired by parent company Baltimore & Ohio.  Heck, the trucks and fuel tank are still shiny black...not yet showing any signs of the heavy sand and grime typically associated with railroading in this hilly part of northeastern PA!

In fact, this new, blue look is such a departure from the CNJ's traditional Deep Sea Green, that several employees have gathered to check it out!

The locomotive is from Atlas O and the plywood-sheathed caboose was scratch-built by Forum member "Brother Love" and 3-rail scaled & weathered by me...
