It is late 1946 and a lucky photographer got a picture of the Pennsy's unique Q1 as it left the yard. This was the last revenue run of the big engine as it was put on the retired list soon after. Unfortunately this great piece of history was scraped in 1949.

The model is by 3rd Rail. I picked it up at the April York, and the photo was taken by forum member PENNSY484 on his layout.
