Hi Crew!

It's HONGZ WPF!!

I'm still doin' the V scale "thang".  I've installed a bunch more scenery along select portions of my 1889 Frisco Line mini-mega route.  Here's various and sundry shots from hither n' yon...

First up, we head to Indian Territory (later to become Oklahoma). Below is the town of "Talihina" (pronounced "Towel uh HE nuh"). The name "Talihina" is a derivative of the Choctaw words "tulla", meaning "iron" and "hena", meaning "trail". Thus, Talihina, "Iron Trail", was truly a railroad town from its inception.  Talihina sits on the southern slope of "Winding Stair Mountain". There was a short helper section on both the southern and northern slope of Winding Stair Mountain, with the northern slope having the steepest, with a short portion of it reaching 2.62%. Here's my virtual version of Talihina...

On the northern side of Winding Stair Mountain, is the helper town of Bengal (BEN gall), Indian Territory. Often a helper would help from Talihina over the summit, then run light down to Bengal, and shove a helper up to the summit and return to Talihina. Here's my version of Bengal:

I've also done some work on other locations... but all in good time.

The biggest news for me is: The contractor has FINALLY started delivering the materials needed for them to finish the interior of my new 16' x 20' out building that will house my HO scale Colorado & Pacific layout! Yippee!

All fer now!

Andre
