Here's my latest project: Repainting and decaling an MTH 33K gallon tank car. It started out looking like this:
...and with some painting and custom decaling, I turned it into a Cars "Dinoco" tank car. This was effectively a "practice" car, as my next project is full repainting and decaling of a passenger set. Needed to get a feel for large decals and airbrushing before that big project. I learned a lot. All things considered, though, I'm pretty happy with how it came out:
Oh, and here's a picture of my son parking our LionChief Plus Daylight in the engine house at the Club. These LC+ engines are great! Sounds are on par with early PS2, and my 3 yo learned how to use the remote in about 5 seconds flat. Plus, cruise control and easy set-up make it feasible for the kids to run at the Club!

Great work on the tank car. I think Hudson's still a bit young, but he'll pick it up, especially with big sister Alexa helping him along.
