One of my old train watching spots in Philly along with 58th street, where the B&O crossed the northeast corridor. either spots where not in the safest neighborhoods but now I am not sure, either way I WOULD NOT GO TO 58TH STREET unless in a large group.

like most of Philly it is a dump. 58th street I know very well and I would not go there alone or for that matter not even with a group. Very unsafe IMO.
