even the best train parent ,has a problem child,,,,my crackle black piper,,,has been a problem from day 1 ,it was nos,,,so it would run like a foot and shut down,,,hummm,one shop had it for awhile,,it was ok,,,back on my track nope,,,tried a 2nd shop,,,couple weeks its ok,,,back it went,,,,it ran great on the bench upside down,,on the track nope,,,couple of weeks later ,,its ok,,,,same,,,,this time the front truck fell off,,,so the problem was it was binding on curves and stopped the loco,easy fix,,,till,,,and I will admit this,,,,dirty ,dirty track,,,shame on me,,,cleaned track,,now it, and I are happy campers
