I have been lucky this week to find a nice LIONEL 116 station in the color I prefer. Finding one in France is really exceptional, first one I see here and shipping from USA is definitely too high I had to take it. Some paint scratches and a small touch up but all in all not too bad for a piece from 1935.

It seems also that using Britains and Johillco from GB from the same time period  makes a good match in size.

Daniel, Congratulations! That is also my favorite Lionel station! I believe the catalog number is 114. Lionel made three different versions in this green and cream color scheme, the smaller single 112 (no lights) and 113 (with lights,) and the 114 larger double station with lights. Dates of production were 1931-1934.  The 115 and 116 came later in the red and cream color scheme. Your example is a beauty!
