I heard the seller say "give me 50 cents and take the whole box" Amongst the bunch of broken SP Cabooses, and Flyer S Gauge cabooses,and steamer shell, some Marx 3/16 trucks,a 2620 frame with intact yoke,a pair of 2655 boxcar bodies (I was pretty sure I had a frame at home),a frame for a Scout boxcar (had a good body at home)and some other odds and ends. Then for $2 I picked up a 6520 Searchlight body with good generator,a $6 Marx searchlight tower (the bulbs even worked),I spotted a 1684 motor for $15 the seller offered for $10.Picked up two nice 7" Marx cars that will get the 3/16 trucks.
I had trucks and mounting plates for the 6520,the 1684 motor went into a 259E shell I picked up last year,scrounged some trucks for the engine I had in the bin, just need to fab a front motor mount.Pretty good week.Lots of good prices on stuff.
