Weight problem on lionel locomotive

First off all, sorry for my English, I'm French. I have just bought the locomotive lionel Santa fe lionchief 0-8-0, and immediately I have noticed that the Loco is not very heavy, only 1,100 kg! I don't understand why, because all parts are in diecast, or lionel is using aluminum now?

For comparaison, the 4-6-0 Williams which has the Same length has a weight of 1,500kg, so 400gr more than the lionel.

Has anybody an idea of the problem on the lionel locomotive? How can we explain this?
