Whats funny I suppose is that MTH already has 1/3 (or so) of the tooling needed. They shared the same tender as the M-2, same for the cab, wheels, and 'rock knocker' pilot. The basic engine was also run by the D&RG. and I'm sure a couple other fantasy schemes could be thought of, say B&O.
