That said, this seems to be the practice of Lionel (and other manufacturers) in the recent past, so it's 'assumed' B units will eventually be forthcoming. However, you know the old saying about when you 'assume'.
Although I didn't see Ryan and Dave's video unveiling of the catalog, maybe they mentioned something about future 'B' units. If so, perhaps someone on the Forum who saw their catalog reveal will clarify this for you (and me).

B units will be coming out according to Ryan. He mentioned it at least twice. There will also be additional liveries and wheel counts.
