Reply to "What Did You Buy at York?"

My four year old grandson Austin was with me and had a great time meeting people, looking, and running trains. He also managed to come home with a new Lionchief  + switcher, a N and W hopper for his brother, and a Southern boxcar for me (all Lionel).

Andre gave him a cable reel kit and I bought some water tanks.

Also a DVD from OGR, brick mortar from Korber, lights from Ogre, H and C Coffee sign from Miller, several items from Dave with Crescent Loco, and three sets of tanks from Stan the Tank Man who said that after 25+ years, this was his last show.

Also talked to Harry Hieke about building a model of the N and W Roanoke station post 1950's remodeling. Vickie Hieke fed Austin candy, chips, and water while Harry and I were talking. She made a friend for life. The project looks promising.

It was a fun time but nothing exciting on my list. Pre-orders take away a lot of the $$$ as pre-order = pre-spent to me.
