mike g:  I'm using Scalecoat II GN EB green and orange through an airbrush.  Also, I'm having custom decals made for the locomotives and for striping.  The prototype used Dulux gold, though most models use a yellow shade.  I have vintage Champ decals for the passenger cars that are dulux gold.

Biggest impetus for going forward is Christine Braden; a very talented painter who does a beautiful job painting vista domes, among other things--I tried many times to paint a LIONEL vista dome and the results were awful.  She's doing the offset vista dome for this train and did two previously for me.  If you've seen VistaDomeScott's Auto-Train, CVSR, and others, she did those.  Very talented lady.

Shame on me for omitting a huge shout out to the helpful folks at the Great Northern Railway Historical Society who, among other things, pointed me to a couple of their publications that supplied detailed information on the GN EB, including paint diagrams, lettering diagrams, car names and numbers, etc.
