I went to the local 5 BELOW store and picked up a wireless bluetooth speaker. Tore its guts out and installed the speaker and board and battery in my 35 year old MPC GP 7. Put the battery and board in the plastic fuel tank and cut holes for the switch and USB port. Speaker was double stick taped to the cab roof after adding longer leads. I downloaded several apps of diesel horns and sounds. Now I have sound in a conventional locomotive for 5 dollars. Oh also replaced the bulb with 2 LEDS in the nose. Sorry didn't have my camera available when I did the work, but will get pics of the finished locomotive and some sounds.
