I always wanted an SP SW1, but could not find any in the original 1939 paint style made by any of the manufacturers of 3 rail. So I bought an MTH a couple of years ago with a different railroad’s paint scheme and planned to repaint and reletter it. I only recently finally found a source for dry transfers for the SP SW1. So at last I finished this projecy and just test ran the engine. A longtime goal finally finished!
