Today, after the M1a dropped its mixed freight in the arrival yard lead, it continued to the engine yard for routine maintenance, coal and water. B6s No. 522 pulled the cars to the yard to be switched to businesses or added to other trains.
I have been running MTH Premier Passenger cars (2) and matching MTH baggage mail car as a local commuter. They measure 17 inches. I got a GGD baggage mail car recently for my mail express train. I decided to reassign it to the local but it it's totally out of place dimensionally with the MTH cars. So I substituted three K-line passenger cars (18") that make the train look somewhat better. One coach, a combine and an observation car. If train shows open up next year I will try to sell the MTH cars and get two more K-line coaches. Looking to get 4 wheel trucks for them as well.
