Took advantage of LIONEL's 50% off sale to return to service the club's MOW track cleaning car with the purchase of sponges, retaining disks, rubber seals, etc., as well as a previous purchase of other needed parts from N. Lima Trainworks.  It'd been a shelf queen since a plastic tube had broken, and the sponges and disks were shot.  All parts installed have back-ups at the ready.

We ran it around the yellow mainline briefly to confirm it's working and it is--both pads were nicely blackened.  We'll set up a track cleaning train and pull it around each of the four mainlines with other club track cleaning cars attached behind it since this is the only one that dispenses fluid.

If you have one of these, the repair parts are available for short money with the exception of the rotating disk/gear transmission assembly.
