This is a train that I received on my 8th birthday. Like 1960. My dad kept the train, much to my surprise. I have spent forever to get to the point today that everything planned for train operation is in place. The only things not hooked up are the uncouplers/"decouplers". That is now a matter of a few more electrical connections, which I will do tomorrow.

Then I get to work on scenery details, which will not be much more than what you see.

A little detail is this layout folds up into the wall. If it is not nailed down it is falling off. So I have used lots of glue and screws.
