Mike I wonder how tall that crane is in scale feet?? I know some of them are HUGE!!!! I think mine may be taller but I was afraid to go out and get it with the temps in the teens! Plastic dont like that! Especially not 45 year old plastic lol I am going to check out some off my army men stuff. I think I had a few close to O scale pieces. And I was wondering if you were gluing down the track along with the roadbed or just gluing the roadbed and screwing the track down? I dont know if I will ever get to that stage. I could walk in the train room tonight and decide to change something!
