It took some work to learn that your brown diesels are from the Duluth, Missabe, and Iron Range Railroad. It too is owned by Canadian National and mostly ships ore to Great Lakes ports.
Ya, looks like Brian is commemorating the movement of iron ore from the Iron Range in Minnesota to the Blast Furnaces of Pittsburgh. Nice Post, Brian. Just needs an Ore Boat pic.
