I don't know if you guys will ever speak to me again.

We went to Guadalajara to a mall with the only two model train stores in the state, as well as two large toy stores. I wanted:

1) an N scale train with a large track

2) some tracks for electric Thomas the Tank Engine trains I had gotten from junk shops, open-air markets, etc.

3) An HO set that is not made by Bachman.

4) a dead rail set (battery-powered, remote-control)

One train shop was closed for the week. The other had nothing that I wanted. And a toy store had a 1226 piece Lego dead rail construction train with 10-speed Bluetooth control, a manually-operated crane car, two flat cars that can be built a variety of ways, several accessories, and a small add-on set, for a total of $250 US.

There are six books (BOOKS, not "pages") of assembly instructions, so I should be kept happily-occupied for a while.
