Thank you Mike,

Who would have thought a 28-hour a week job 1 1/2 miles from my home would crimp my style so much!    Well, our younger daughter borrowed my car for the last two weeks while their only car was in for service, so I've been taking my wife to work as well.  Then trips to the elderly, taking care of some things at my parents' empty house, and all my exercises have me feeling like the senior citizen the calendar claims I am!!    On another note, I received my first weekly numbers at this telecom tech support position I am at now.  Dismal considering I have 43 years in the business!    Actually, I think I'm doing not bad since I never handled the customer call-in troubles before, and no one has thrown me out that 2-story window around the corner yet!    I did file for Social Security this week, as my pay fits in for the minimum before they start subtracting from monthly benefits.  Mum just got word today that the buyout at the school district should go through, so she will be collecting a meager pension like me soon.  That's it; put us out to pasture so we can recuperate and enjoy our hobbies finally!!

Brian, All aboard Amtrak!!!

Paul, Looks like you have been quite busy indeed!  All that wire!  I hate wire, especially after working in the telecom and power industries my whole adult life!  The TH&B with the torpedoes looks great!!!  I thought about getting one in B&O livery, but decided with my limited engine funds to stick with Western Maryland prototypes!

Ralph, Looks like something good, I would say!  I have always used gray.  Is it better to use black if the final paint is to be dark?  I'll wait to see what folks say.
