Mark, there is a rocky hillside you can climb up from the rail-trail to get that view of the old bridge. We lived in Meyersdale for a couple years and spent a lot of time on the old Western Maryland alignment. For awhile it was rough ballast from about the WM-B&O interchange above Meyersdale clear to Deal. It is all finished now and is a delightful bike ride.
