I continued to put Gunrunner John's YLB Batteries in my steam engines. The C&O Mallet #1521 is the twenty-ninth engine to get a quick rechargeable battery to help the sound systems over the gaps in the center rails of my Atlas O switches.

Update: I just finished putting a YLB Battery in engine number 30, a Norfolk Western Y6B #2171. All engines are now completed, excluding the small engines with tethers or the Vision Line Big Boys with no room in the tender for a battery.

Running the steam engines is now fun without the sound drop-out that use to occur,
