i have removed the post TCA finally responded today---after four request they are sending me a membership card. i am criticised for posting an honedt plea and request backed up by a factual statement--- a receipt. it is truly unfortunate there are invincible ignorant people on this forum who act as if stupidity were a virtue.

Nobody was criticizing you.

As far as stupidity goes...... some folks would consider putting your personal contact information up on an open, public forum to be unwise.

So why call ...... For all that we all rely on Email, delivery and a resulting action are far from guaranteed. Occasionally emails aren't delivered. Sometimes they get lost in network spam / antivirus filters. Then there are filters on individual workstations / mailboxes.
The recipient could loose track of the email and leave it sitting in their mailbox for an extended period. They might accidentally delete the email.
Should these things happen? Of course not, but they do. So, when several attempts to get a response / action from an email are unsuccessful, it seems prudent to make a call.
