By selling off some assets, such as tooling, etc., this surely gave the “new to us” MTH the breathing room it needed to keep the lights on……with that said, all is not lost …….no??…….the tools live on, Atlas, Lionel, and some other vendors in other gauges are putting them to work as we speak, I’m sure……it was a bold move, and one that should be commended, not condemned,……there’s another way this could have played out, …..lights out, doors locked, tools sold off for scrap and made into toaster ovens…..😬
