I started buying MTH with the Dash-8. However I had been buying Mike's influence since he took over quality control of production at Williams. I was buying his influence on Brass engine production at Weaver. I bought his production control on the engines he made for Lionel. When he announced the Challenger, which unleashed a flood of engine production that we will never see again, I bought those also.

I also was not happy when the word came that the world as we knew it was over. However, if Mike never comes off the golf course again, he has done more and faster than anyone that came before him in this hobby. I suggest we cut him some slack and enjoy what we have.
