Reply to "What is the S-Scale Gauge?"

"S" scale is supposedly 1/64. American standard railroad gauge is 56-1/2". If we are true to scale that equates to about 0.883 inches or 22.43 mm between the rails.

 

Most guys use the 7/8 inch figure (0.875")as "good enough".
