I have used 1/8 inch Masonite for my roads. It is

1. Inexpensive, 2. can easily be cut, 3. You can stand on it without denting it, 4. It can be painted and

striped and 5. the 1/8th of an inch is a perfect 6 scale inch measurement for o gage streets
