Reply to "What's the best way to remove a flywheel"

Thanks...I am 99% sure the flywheel doesn't have a set screw, but I think I assumed the pulley didn't either, but it very well could be under the belt.  I will take it all apart again this weekend and take a closer look.  I will report back tomorrow after I look under the hood.

Does anyone know off the top of their head the mounting screw size for pittman for the motor mount so I can mount it when I get to that point?

No set size mounting screws on Pittmans, ……that would be determined by the original application/client the motor was built for. The array can be dizzying, from fine thread, to coarse, and standard or metric thread,……best to take the motor to your favorite hardware store like Ace, or similar, and match it up from there…watch getting screws too long, or you’ll destroy the armature windings…..
