Today marks the inaugural run of my DM&IRR three car tourist special!. Four Covid Projects completed except for a mars light simulator instillation for the Northland tail-end light. Still waiting for a parts shipment from Digi-Key Electronics. Each received a full color make over, overhead lighting,, interior & exterior detailing per prototype and loads of tourists. The three cars (Northland, W24 & coach #33) are currently maintained and operated by the Lake Superior RR Museum and North Shore Science RR - Duluth, MN. Todays special was powered by #1121 which was a pre-covid earlier project that was model after #332 which often pulls a similar consist during the tourist season. You can ride trolley #78 at the Minnesota Transportation Museum, Jackson Street Roundhouse in the Twin Cities.
