I use a lot of Gargraves,and mostly dont try to make my own  42"  or smaller loop. If I get in trouble with a rebend  or tight curve I keep a spray bottle of DAWN BLUE @50/50with water. Just wet the area you want to shape, bend it, trim the ends, check it for fit,rinse it off, screw it down while wet.Hope this helps .Charlie
