Tom,

The pine plywood, which I assume is SPF, is fine as long as you (i) buy the exterior grade with the green stripes, (ii) paint both sides with a coat of Kilz II, (iii) glue it down with PLX 8, and (iv) screw it down on your structure wood. It will never absorb moisture or warp after that. :-)
