Here's a question for the expert repair personnel reading. Is there any locomotive/grease/lubricant combination that would withstand 20-30 years in storage without maintenance and work just fine? Whenever I sell something that old, I advise cleaning and re-greasing and new lubrication, as a matter of standard practice. Is that too aggressive?
