With the closure of MTH, I think the hobby needs and should be able to support another O gauge manufacturer. Atlas O has offered lots of well-detailed scale-sized locomotive models that could be rerun if the tooling is still available. My Atlas O locomotives have always run well and been trouble-free. I also like the die-cast SW switchers.
