Hi Marty and thanks for the reply.  My theory of MTH not being able to do #814 as seen in your video is wrong  However #809 prototypically did not have Mars lights.  Regardless those are beautiful engines and cars!  May I ask what train name is in the passenger station announcements?


 

Actually, there never was a Lackawanna 809.  Erie Lackawanna 809 was former Lackawanna 820 renumbered to avoid conflict with former Erie 820.  As EL 809 it actually did have a Mars light.  I believe EL 815 (former DL&W 815) was the only DL&W E8 to lose it's Mars light and that was when the nose door was replaced during the EL years.
