The SD70s ran , three of them together, under conventional power on a small portable layout for an entire weekend with no problems at all. We did start having problems when running in Legacy. We ran as many as seven and as few as three on Legacy, and while running an MU in Command, running slow I could see where an engine or engines in the midst of the consist would be spinning the wheels, others would be dragged along, thus my question about being able to set stall.
