A little bit more history:

I believe it was Minton Cronkhite who started Q Gauge. The original layout in the Chicago Museum of Science & Industry used Q Gauge track and O Scale rolling stock. It was converted to O Gauge, O Scale in the 1950s.

Minton’s son Bruce and I were flying buddies.
