Reply to "who makes a good rattle can spray paint in "gunmetal gray" ?"

I agree with the Dupli-color.

For years I used krylon for small jobs.  Then they changed their formula and nozzle, and everything clogged.  I went to Rustoleum - now the same deal.  Nozzles are ok, but they clog internally within a month or so.

I have had no such problems with Dupli-color.  So far, they are as good as gold, and will spray a year later if I bother to shake the can a little.

I have cans of aircraft zinc chromate in rattle cans from the 1990s.  They still work fine.  I suggest the Dupli-color primer, then wait a day.  After top coat, wait a week for the decal step.
