I have been a railfan from as early as I can remember. Kids are curious and interested in whatever is happening around them, especially if it is in motion. Dad was a railfan and took me with him train watching so my native interest&curiosity naturally focused on trains. Being a railfan is the other pathway to a life-long interest in model railroading.
