Refer to the Full Instruction Manual on MTH's web page for the WIU and refer to the section regarding LuCI for directions.
Mine says version 1.0.
Then it definitely needs to be updated.

barry, I looked on the box it came in and a sticker was on it saying firmware updated to 1.1. so I think I am good. did MTH do that? or the place I bought it from? the bottom of the WIU says 1.0. but I guess they pulled most of them and updated the firmware. thanks for the info!
