The 726 came with many different motors...

Early 1946 2020M-1X

Later 1946 726M-41

1947-1949 671-M1

726RR 1952 - 681-100

I believe the 681-100 and 671-M1 may be interchangeable, but I should look through my stash of parts and my collection of locomotives to verify.
