will Mth proto sound 2/3 engines and Lionel Lionchief run off normal transformer control

wonder if mth proto2/3 engines, lionel lionchief engines and Williams standard E operating engines may be run on loop controlled by normal lever transformer.

Grandson has hodgepodge of all three, trying to determine if I need to arrange separate loops for each of the specific types or can they be run on common loop using regular transformer control stick.
