I'm not sure on the original wires to the QSI reverse unit. I could pop one of mine open for comparison tonight if you want though. The first one of these I got had a dead revers so I put an American Flyer E unit and a rectifier in it and it works fine. It was a temporary fix 5 years ago lol.
