Williams semi-scale Pacific proportions question.

I've been eyeballing pics of the Williams semi-scale Pacific alongside USRA light 4-6-2s. Not too far off by my warped eyesight.

Has anybody done a more in-depth comparison? Is the Williams loco a model that looks better off on its own, rather than alongside scale models?
