I've found that if you tin the end of stranded wire, where you want to hook to a lock-on, terminal/accessory nut, it is just like using solid wire. it can be fed thru the lockon/accessory clip easier or wrapped around terminal nut without squishing out when tightened like stranded wire would normally.
